CREW TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing an effective and efficient training activity by creating a detailed training plan
  • Producing qualified cadet by creating a well-planned cadet apprentice program
  • Establishing good cooperation with training vendors, third parties and maritime academy
  • Ensuring planning for crew promotion program a well-implemented
  • Ensuring training needs analysis and training schedule are well developed
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of crew training
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of cadet program
  • Conducting recruitment and development of cadet program
  • Maintaining relationship and monitoring of 3rd parties and maritime academy
  • Establishing, arranging attendants and conducting internal training.
  • Creating weekly training plan and assisting for the yearly training plan for both in-house and external
  • Conducting cadet program
  • Updating crew training record on CIS
  • Arranging crew promotion
  • Building good relationships with training vendor and maritime academy
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of onboard training
  • Delivering and developing Maritime English training material
  • Checking crew certificate need based on related regulations
  • Arranging onboard training and maintaining the report
  • Creating cadet yearly plan
  • Maintaining cadet monthly records and checking the cadet record book
  • Attending the various events, seminars and invitations from third parties to maintain good communication
  • Recording all promotion documentation.

 

Job Qualification

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree of any major.
  • Minimal 0-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Technical knowledge(s): Shipping knowledge, training and development knowledge, administration skill.
  • Have achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, and good interpersonal relationship.
  • Able to analyze issue and use sound judgment, planning organizing, business process understanding, teamwork & cooperation, work efficiently, interpersonal persuasiveness ability, coordination.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral & written.
